the pancreas is 6 inches long & sits across the back of the abdomen behind the stomach. the head of the pancreas is on the right side of the abdomen & connected to small intestines.the tail of the pancreas extends to the left side of the body.


How does it function?

the pancreas functions as a exocrine gland, the pancreas breaks down protiens, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids in foods.the pancreas secretes the hormones insulin and glucagon to control your blood sugar.

how to take care of your pancreas?


on your own time you can make a  cleansing diet to take care of your pancreas. you can drink 2 liters of water everyday or whenever you can and eat a lot of fruits like pineapples, grapes, oranges and also take a few teaspoons of virgin olive oils.

Foods that Support the Pancreas

blueberries & cherries are also very good for the pancreas because they carry great antioxidants, which helps prevent cell damage to your pancreas.
