About

Kerri Eich founded Be Well Gardens to further her impact  embedding garden based wellness programs into peoples lives. She believes practical, place-based, experiences where you are able to touch, taste, and try plants is key. Growing and preparing plant-based based meals builds a more intimate connection to food. The foods we consume sets the tone for the environment we create within our body. Plant based diets have been proven to reduce risks of lifestyle disease and prolong the longevity and quality of ones life.

Kerri has been working with students in Los Angeles public schools for over 20 years and has a deep passion for infusing healthy habits through garden based food experiences. Her students manage garden spaces and learn about health benefits of food through growing and cooking experiences.

She and her husband have also developed Be Well Retreat in Sequoia National Forest and in 2020 designed and planted a fruit and nut orchard to expand opportunities to teach permaculture and garden based wellness to a larger audience. This 30+ acre property is set up for family rentals, small retreats, or filming.
